IDENTIFICATION:
Pre 1998 - Red with centre BLACK band
Post 1998 - Red with upper level BLACK band
ADVANTAGES:
Clean medium therefore minimal clean up after use. Ideal for use in environment where there are computers or other sensitive electrical equipment.
DISADVANTAGES:
Only limited effectiveness on Class A and Class B fires – refer Suitability Guide below. Not very effective for use in out-door areas as wind will dissipate the CO2 very quickly.
SERVICING:
Inspection and maintenance is to be performed at regular six monthly intervals as required by Australian Standard AS 1851 by an authorised or licenced contractor.

EVERSAFE fire extinguishers are designed and manufactured to provide not only an effective means of combating a fire but also a long, cost efficient service life. Fully assembled in our fully approved facilities in Brisbane, our CO2 cylinders are manufactured from high quality, light weight alloy. The EAC 2 / 2.0kg model is fitted with an adjustable swivel elbow assembly to allow discharge directly to the seat of a fire whilst the larger 3.5 and 5.0kg models are fitted with high pressure discharge hose and horn assemblies.
